broccoli casserole with green chile's and jalapeno's

If you like things a little spicy in your life, then you should really try this. If the mixture doesn't look creamy enough add some juice from the pickled jalapeno's. It adds something to this recipe.

Ingredients
- 1 box chicken rice-a-roni (8 oz)
- 1 package broccoli florets (10 oz)
- 1 can cheddar cheese soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can green chiles (chopped) (4 oz)
- 1/4 cup pickled jalapeno's (chopped) more or less depending on heat
- 1 1/2 cups monterey jack cheese (shredded)
How To Make broccoli casserole with green chile's and jalapeno's

Step 1Preheat oven to 350.

Step 2In sauce pan, cook rice according to package directions.

Step 3Cook broccoli until just tender and drain.

Step 4In large bowl, combine rice, broccoli, soup, sour cream, green chilies, jalapeños, jalapeño juice (I add this for a little extra heat and flavor) and 1 cup of shredded cheese.

Step 5Put mixture in a prepared casserole dish.

Step 6Sprinkle top with remaining cheese. (You may want to cover with tin foil and uncover the last 5 minutes of baking).

Step 7Bake in preheated oven for 35-45 minutes.
