This is so good even the kids will eat it and love it..I like it cold out of the frig the next day....

Ingredients

  • 1 med - onion (diced)
  • 1 tablespoon butter, room temperature
  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup prepared minute rice
  • 1 package frozen chopped broccoli (thawed)
  • 1 lg jar cheeze whiz
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

How To Make broccoli and rice casserole

  • Step 1
    In large skillet saute onion in butter, til soft and tanslucent.
  • Step 2
    add thawed broccoli and continue sauting til broccoli is cooked.
  • Step 3
    now add can of soup and mix well, continue cooking for 30 minutes.
  • Step 4
    now add prepared minute rice and mix well..
  • Step 5
    Pour mixture into a casserole dish and top with cheeze whiz in dollops across the casserole and place in a preheated 350 degree oven and cook for 30 minutes..til cheeze is bubbly and slightly browned around the edges..
  • Step 6
    Remove from oven and serve warm...
