Ingredients

  • 1 med
    onion (diced)
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter, room temperature
  • 1 can(s)
    condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 c
    prepared minute rice
  • 1 pkg
    frozen chopped broccoli (thawed)
  • 1 lg jar(s)
    cheeze whiz
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper

How to Make Broccoli and Rice casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. In large skillet saute onion in butter, til soft and tanslucent.
  2. add thawed broccoli and continue sauting til broccoli is cooked.
  3. now add can of soup and mix well, continue cooking for 30 minutes.
  4. now add prepared minute rice and mix well..
  5. Pour mixture into a casserole dish and top with cheeze whiz in dollops across the casserole and place in a preheated 350 degree oven and cook for 30 minutes..til cheeze is bubbly and slightly browned around the edges..
  6. Remove from oven and serve warm...
