Bread & Butter Pickels

It will take you most of the afternoon but so worth it ..
Ingredients
-
8 cthinly sliced cucumbers
-
2 cthinly sliced onions
-
4green peppers , finely chopped
-
2 cvinegar
-
3 cbrown sugar
-
2 tspcelery seed
-
2 tsptumeric powder
-
2 stickcinnamon
How to Make Bread & Butter Pickels
- Let cucumbers, onions etc. stand in salt water for 1 hour.
- Drain and cook 20 mins. in vinegar mixture
- Place in clean hot jars to seal ..(If you boil the lids and rings then put them on jars and turn upside down .They should all seal ) Make sure the lip of jar is whipped off before putting the ring on
- I have been able to keep these on the sheft for two years .Just make sure thier sealed before you store them
