balsamic vinegar

garlic clove, minced

beet greens, coarsely chopped
1/4 c
water
"just a pinch" cayenne
1 Tbsp
sesame seeds

How to Make Braised Greens with Vinegar & Sesame Seeds

Step-by-Step

  • 1Cut greens into strips. Heat vinegar and garlic in pot.
  • 2Add greens and cook until wilted.
  • 3Add water (if needed), cover and cook gently 2 minutes, adding more water as necessary to keep from sticking.
  • 4Uncover, then cook until rest of liquid has evaporated. Sprinkle with cayenne and sesame seeds.
