Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds cabbage, shredded
  • 3 - carrots, grated
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 - chive stalks
  • - salt and pepper to taste

How To Make braised cabbage

  • Step 1
    In skillet heat butter until foamy.
  • Step 2
    Add chives and saute until tender.
  • Step 3
    Add green cabbage and carrots.
  • Step 4
    Saute over high heat until tender but crisp, about 4 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
