These are very decadent Brussels sprouts.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
  • 1 small lemon, juiced
  • 0 - salt and white pepper

How To Make braised brussels sprouts with cream, lemon, and cheese

  • Step 1
    Rinse and trim the Brussels sprouts. Grate in a food processor until it looks like coleslaw.
  • Step 2
    Place the heavy cream in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer until it's reduced by half.
  • Step 3
    Stir in the Brussels sprouts and garlic cook about 6 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Stir in the cheese and let it melt, then stir in the lemon juice. Taste and season with salt and white pepper.
