Ingredients For bourbon sweet potatoes

  • 3-30oz can
    yams
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 3 eggs
    beaten
  • 1-1/2 oz
    (3tab) bourbon
  • 3/4 c
    melted butter
  • 1-1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp
    plus dash nutmeg
  • 1/4 c
    plus 2 tab milk
  • chopped pecans (optional)

How To Make bourbon sweet potatoes

  • 1
    Drain yams and mash. Add all other ingredients to mix.

    Pour into a 9x12 casserole. Combine topping mix and spread over yams.

    Topping: 3/4 cups plus 6 Tabs packed light brown sugar,1/3 cup plus 2-1/2 Tabs of flour,3/4 cup melted butter,1-1/2 cups chopped pecans. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.
