black walnut-broccolini salad
Black walnuts are a favorite of mine since we had a tree when I grew up. A very distinct taste that inspired this tasty salad ...perfect side for any occasion !

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup soft cream cheese, melted
- 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 teaspoons peanut oil
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon mayonaise
- 4 cups chopped broccolini
- 1/2 cup crispy cooked bacon pieces
- 1/2 cup soft golden raisins
- 3/4 cup chopped black walnuts
- 2/3 cup chopped red onions
How To Make black walnut-broccolini salad

Step 1In a medium bowl, whisk together the melted cream cheese, vinegar, honey, peanut oil, onion powder, salt, and mayo. Whisk until well-blended, then cover and place in fridge for 5 minutes.

Step 2In a large bowl combine the broccolini, bacon, golden raisins, black walnuts and red onions.

Step 3Pour the dressing over the veggies and toss together.

Step 4Cover and chill 15-20 minutes.

Step 5Place the lightly chilled salad on serving plate or bowl.
