best oriental salad
My family loves this fresh crispy salad. I got this recipe many years ago from a co-worker. It is different from most oriental salad recipes in that it does not use the ramen noodle spice packet.

Ingredients
- 1 - bag of prepared coleslaw cabbage mix
- 2 bunches green onions
- 3-4 tablespoons butter
- 2 packages ramen noodles - discard spice pack
- 4 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
How To Make best oriental salad

Step 1Chop green onions and add to coleslaw mix. Chill.

Step 2Break up the ramen noodles and brown in 3-4 tbsp of butter. Add sesame seeds and almonds to toast. Set aside to cool.

Step 3Mix soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, & oil in sauce pan and bring to boil. Boil for 1-2 minutes, or until the sugar has completely dissolved. Place in separate container and chill.

Step 4Just before serving add the toasted noodle mix and the dressing to the coleslaw mix.
