Beets are really healthy for you. We enjoy them year round. I like to serve this when I have company as most have never made them this way. Elegant enough for a special dinner or holiday fare!

- 2-16 oz. cans sliced beets, drained
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup orange juice
- 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
How To Make beets in orange sauce

Step 1In a medium saucepan, combine the cornstarch, brown sugar, and salt; gradually whisk in the orange juice and the apple cider vinegar.

Step 2Cook over medium heat, whisking constantly, until thickened and bubbly.

Step 3Add drained beets and cook over medium heat until thoroughly heated.

Step 4Serve in a pretty glass serving dish.
