beet and tomato casserole
This is an adoptee recipe and I haven't made it yet, but I think I will add a few extra herbs and spices to kick up the flavors. Since I love beets and I love stewed tomatoes, hoping this will turn out great. Stay Tuned, Film at 11. LOL
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups beets, boiled and diced
- 2 1/2 cups stewed tomatoes
- 1/2 cup cheese, grated
- 2 cups panko bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter, room temperature
How To Make beet and tomato casserole

Step 1Put 1/2 beets in bottom of greased baking dish.

Step 2Add half the tomatoes then half the cheese in layers.

Step 3Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Step 4Add 1/2 bread crumbs.

Step 5Dot with 1 tablespoon fat.

Step 6Repeat. Brown in moderate oven 350, 20 minutes.
