Ingredients
- 4 large sweet onions, sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup amber ale or amber beer
- - salt & pepper
How To Make beer braised onions

Step 1Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the butter. Let the butter melt and then turn temperature down to medium-low heat.

Step 2Add onions and let cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender and translucent. Season with a little salt & pepper.

Step 3Slowly add the beer and cover the skillet. Let simmer for about 10 minutes.

Step 4Remove cover from skillet and cook an additional 5 minutes to allow some of the beer to evaporate.
