How to Make Beer-Batter Onion Rings
- 1Mix the flour, salt, pepper, oil and yolks together.
- 2Gradually whisk in the beer.
- 3Refrigerate the batter 3 1/2 hours to rest before using.
- 4Slice onions, and dip them in the batter.
- 5Deep-fry in 375 degree oil until golden brown.
- 6This batter also works well on other vegetables besides onion rings--and it's great on fish, too.
