    green onions, finely chopped
  • 1
    clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp
    hot peppers (jalapeno or serrano) minced
  • 2 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 3 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1/2 c
    plain lowfat yogurt
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 c
    fresh herbs, chopped
  • 4
    tomatoes, beef steak
  • 1
    sweet onion, sliced

How to Make Beef Steak Tomatoes with Garden Herbs


  1. Combine green onion, garlic, chiles and lemon juice.
  2. Beat in olive oil and yogurt gradually.
  3. Add salt and pepper.
  4. Finely chop herbs and add. This may be done in a food processor or blender.
  5. Refrigerate.
  6. Serve over sliced tomatoes and onions.
