Take fresh green beans, add garlic, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar... You can't go wrong.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Fresh green beans are a popular side dish, and these balsamic green beans are delicious. Tender and crispy, they're a bit tangy from the balsamic vinegar and garlic. While they saute, the balsamic vinegar slightly caramelizes on the green beans, making them even more savory. A simple and slightly elevated side dish that would be great for a holiday meal or alongside chicken or a grilled steak.

  • Put a lid on and turn off the heat, and let it sit there for 4-5 minutes.
    Step 7
Put a lid on and turn off the heat, but don't remove the pan from the burner. Just let it sit there for 4-5 minutes. Taste to see if it needs more seasoning and add a little more of the balsamic vinegar.
