Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh green beans, ends trimmed
- 1 large red bell pepper, cut into long strips
- 1 large sweet onion, such as vidalia, cut into thin strips
- 1/4 - 1/3 cup lighter flavored olive oil
- 3-4 tablespoons good balsamic vinegar
- 1 or more teaspoon garlic salt with parsley
- 1/2-1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
How To Make balsamic roasted green beans

Step 1Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Wash and trim green beans, leaving them whole. Wash and slice red pepper and sweet onion. Lay vegetables in large casserole dish.

Step 2Pour olive oil over vegetables and gently toss. Drizzle balsamic over them and season with garlic salt and pepper. Toss until well covered with seasonings.

Step 3Bake at 425 for 35-40 minutes, stirring frequently for even roasting. If desired, drizzle extra balsamic vinegar over them at end of cooking time. May be served hot or at room temperature.
