Ingredients
- 3 cups yellow squash, sliced
- 6 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup cream or evaporated milk
- 2 cups bread crumbs
- 6 tablespoons butter, melted (additional)
How To Make baked yellow squash

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x9 baking dish.

Step 2Combine squash, 6 Tablespoons melted butter, onion, cheese, milk and cream. Mix well. Pour into prepared dish. Set aside.

Step 3Break your bread in to small pieces in medium size bowl, melt the additional 6 tablespoons butter and toss with bread crumbs. Sprinkle the bread crumbs evenly over the squash mixture.

Step 4Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Reduce heat to 300 degrees and bake an additional 10 minutes.
