Ingredients
- 6 large onions
- 1/4 cup light margarine
- 1/2 cup lowfat sour cream
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar, light
- - paprika
- - parsley, for garnish, if desired
How To Make baked onions

Step 1Rinse unpeeled onions; cut off the hard root and the dry top. Place in a foil-covered pan and bake at 375 F. for 1-1/2 hours.

Step 2Remove from oven and slide off skins. Place in oven-proof dish.

Step 3Combine margarine, sour cream, lemon juice and brown sugar; mix well. Spread sour cream mixture over onions. Sprinkle with paprika and return to oven briefly to heat sauce.

Step 4Sprinkle with parsley to garnish before serving.
