This is not the baked corn casserole with cornbread mix or sour cream. It is, however, absolutely delicious. Sweet & comforting. This is one of my daughter's all-time favorite dishes, and I make it every Thanksgiving, Christmas, & many Sunday dinners.

  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
  • 1 c
    whole milk
  • 2 c
    corn, drained (i use the whole 15 & 1/4 ounce can)
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 2
    eggs, well beaten
  • ·
    salt & pepper

How to Make Baked Corn


  1. Melt butter over low heat. Add flour & stir well. Once this is blended & heated through, add milk. Bring to a quick boil.
  2. Stir in corn (make sure it is VERY well drained!), sugar, salt & pepper to taste.
  3. Heat this for about 2 minutes & then remove from heat. Add eggs & mix through.
  4. Pour in greased baking dish & bake for 25 minutes @ 350 degrees.
