This is such a wonderful dish if you like corn. It's simple, easy and quick. My family & I like this because it's not so sweet.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 3 tablespoons flour, all purpose or self-rising
  • 2 cups milk
  • 16 ounces frozen corn, thawed
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 3 - eggs, beaten

How To Make baked corn

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 375. In a saucepan, melt butter; sprinkle in flour and stir well. Gradually add milk and bring to the boiling point but do not boil.
  • Step 2
    Add in the thawed corn, salt, pepper and sugar. Heat thoroughly then remove from heat.
  • Step 3
    Temper eggs then add to mixture. Pour into a 2 quart buttered baking dish and bake @375 for approximately 35 minutes.
