This is such a wonderful dish if you like corn. It's simple, easy and quick. My family & I like this because it's not so sweet.

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp
    butter or margarine
  • 3 Tbsp
    flour, all purpose or self-rising
  • 2 c
    milk
  • 16 oz
    frozen corn, thawed
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/8 tsp
    black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    granulated sugar
  • 3
    eggs, beaten

How to Make BAKED CORN

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 375. In a saucepan, melt butter; sprinkle in flour and stir well. Gradually add milk and bring to the boiling point but do not boil.
  2. Add in the thawed corn, salt, pepper and sugar. Heat thoroughly then remove from heat.
  3. Temper eggs then add to mixture. Pour into a 2 quart buttered baking dish and bake @375 for approximately 35 minutes.
