My children loved apples when they were little but not too many veggies. So I tried mixing things up and this recipe was a hit!

Ingredients

  • 8
    medium carrots, pared and cut into 1-inch.pieces
  • 1-20 oz
    can pie sliced apples (drained)
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • dash(es)
    paprika, sweet mild

How to Make Baked Carrots and Apples

Step-by-Step

  1. Cook carrots in salted boiling water until tender(12 to 15 min.) Combine carrots and apples, turn into 9 inch. pie plate. Sprinkle with sugar, dot with butter. Dash carrots and apples generously with paprika. Bake in 375 degree oven for 1 hour.
