Ingredients For asparagus with jalapeno hollandaise sauce

  • 1 1/2 pound fresh asparagus or two packages, 10 ounces each, frozen asparagus spears
  • one package hollandaise sauce mix, 0.9 ounces
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon seeded and diced jalapeno pepper
  • 2 teaspoons diced pimiento
  • fresh cilantro sprigs, lemon slices, red jalapeno pepper for garnish, optional

How To Make asparagus with jalapeno hollandaise sauce

  • 1
    snap off tough ends of asparagus. Arrange asparagus steamer basket over boiling water. Cover and steam 5 to 6 minutes or until crisp tender. Arrange asparagus on a serving plate, and keep warm.

    Prepare hollandaise sauce mix according to package directions; stir in Parmesan cheese, diced jalapeno pepper, and pimiento. Serve over asparagus. Garnish, if desired. Makes six servings.
