A simple way to add flavor to asparagus. I like to add some herbs (tarragon, basil, thyme), or whatever sounds good at the time to the butter.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds asparagus
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 cup cashews, chopped
How To Make asparagus with cashew butter

Step 1Place asparagus in a large skillet.

Step 2Pour chicken broth over asparagus; bring to a boil over medium heat.

Step 3Cover, reduce heat, and simmer about 8 minutes or until desired tenderness. Drain.

Step 4Combine butter and cashews; beat at high speed of an electric mixer until fluffy.

Step 5Serve cashew butter with cooked asparagus.
