A simple way to add flavor to asparagus. I like to add some herbs (tarragon, basil, thyme), or whatever sounds good at the time to the butter.

  • 1 1/2 pounds asparagus
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup cashews, chopped

How To Make asparagus with cashew butter

  • Step 1
    Place asparagus in a large skillet.
  • Step 2
    Pour chicken broth over asparagus; bring to a boil over medium heat.
  • Step 3
    Cover, reduce heat, and simmer about 8 minutes or until desired tenderness. Drain.
  • Step 4
    Combine butter and cashews; beat at high speed of an electric mixer until fluffy.
  • Step 5
    Serve cashew butter with cooked asparagus.
