The farmer market vegetable stand is openand the asparagus is high on the list and soon other vegetables will be available right out of the garden, on to the farmers vegie stand and into my house to prepare great vegetable dishes.

    milk
  • 3 Tbsp
    fresh sliced chives
  • 1 Tbsp
    plus 1 tsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

    Preheat oven to 350F..wash asparagus, cut off the hard end and discard..Add asparagus to a pot of boiling water cook 2 minutes until just tender about 2 minutes drain and rinse in cold water, drain again, set aside.
