A very savoring green bean dish to go along as a side dish for chicken lo mein.

  • 2 (15 oz) can(s)
    green giant green beans -- drained
  • 1/2 small
    yellow onion -- diced
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh garlic -- minced
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 2 tsp
    red pepper flakes

How to Make Asian Sweet & Spicy Green Beans


  1. Add olive oil and heat wok or pan on medium high.
  2. When oil starts bubbling add onion and garlic; saute until translucent.
  3. Then add drained green beans, honey, red pepper flakes, and soy sauce to wok or pan.
  4. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes on medium heat.
