  • 1 lb
    small brussels sprouts
  • 1/2 c
    chopped walnuts
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 tsp
    fresh, grated ginger
  • 1/4 c
    chicken broth
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1 Tbsp
    lime juice
  • 1 Tbsp
    low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp
    chili garlic sauce

How to Make Asian Brussels Sprouts


  1. Trim and Halve the sprouts.
  2. Heat a large skillet over meduim heat.
  3. Place the walnuts in the skillet. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently or until toasted. Set aside.
  4. Raise the heat to medium-high.
  5. Place the oil in the same skillet and heat.
  6. Add the sprouts and ginger. Cook stirring frequently for 5 minutes, or until sprouts are lightly browned.
  7. Add broth, honey, lime juice, chili sauce and soy sauce. Stir to mix.
  8. Reduce heat to low. Cook 5 to 10 minutes more. Until sprouts are tender and glazed with the sauce.
  9. Place in a serving bowl and toss with the walnuts.
