A little sweet, a little sour, a little Indian flare, a little Thai and a lot of crunch. This recipe goes great with Chicken, Pork or Steak. Want an afternoon snack? It's perfect for that too! Recipe is my own.

Ingredients

  • 4 large limes juiced
  • 4 teaspoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 small head green cabbage,
  • - finely shredded
  • 2 - granny smith apples, cored and sliced into thin matchsticks
  • 1/4 cup roasted peanuts
  • - extra-virgin olive oil
  • - salt and pepper

How To Make apple-lime peanut slaw-annette's

  • Step 1
    Whisk the honey, lime juice and spices together in a small bowl. Slowly whisk in enough extra-virgin olive oil to emulsify the dressing. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  • Step 2
    Combine the cabbage, apples and peanuts in a large serving bowl. Add the dressing and toss well. Serve. Enjoy!
