aneva's broccoli casserole
Many years ago, someone in the family collected recipes from descendants of my great grandparents, William M. and Florence E. (Snodgrass) Whaley and had them compiled into a cookbook. I am posting those recipes here so that they will not be lost. This recipe was submitted by Aneva Palmer.

Ingredients
- 1 package (1 lb 4 oz size) frozen chopped broccoli
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1 cup crushed cheese nips crackers
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice (fresh is best)
How To Make aneva's broccoli casserole

Step 1Cook chopped broccoli according to package directions. Drain and discard liquid.

Step 2Mix mayonnaise, soup, cheese and lemon juice together. Combine with broccoli.

Step 3Place in a greased 2 quart microwave safe casserole dish.

Step 4Top with crushed Cheese Nips crackers.

Step 5Microwave on HIGH for 12 minutes, covered in plastic wrap.
