Saw this recipe and switched it up to suit our tastes. This is delicious and a great update on the regular green bean casserole. Hope you all enjoy it!

alfredo sauce
1 1/2 c
milk, whole
1/4 c
parmesan cheese, grated
4 oz
pancetta, diced
garlic cloves, minced
2 c
mushrooms, fresh, sliced thin
1 c
onion, diced
2 can(s)
green beans, drained
1 c
french fried onions
1/4 c
parmesan cheese, grated

How to Make Alfredo Green Bean Cassorole


  • 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • 2In a small pan, combine butter, alfredo mix, milk, and 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese. Bring to simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • 3Saute pancetta over medium heat until almost brown, drain off excess fat. Add onions, garlic and mushrooms. Saute 3 minutes or until softened.
  • 4In large mixing bowl combine green beans, alfredo sauce, ingredients in saute pan and 1/2 cup of french fried onions. Mix well.
  • 5Place mixture in casserole dish and bake for 20 minutes.
  • 6Remove dish from oven. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of french fried onions and 1/4 cup parmesan cheese on top of casserole. Bake for an additional 10 minutes.
    Eat and enjoy!
