alfredo green bean cassorole

Saw this recipe and switched it up to suit our tastes. This is delicious and a great update on the regular green bean casserole. Hope you all enjoy it!

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 package alfredo sauce
- 1 1/2 cups milk, whole
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 4 ounces pancetta, diced
- 2 - garlic cloves, minced
- 2 cups mushrooms, fresh, sliced thin
- 1 cup onion, diced
- 2 cans green beans, drained
- 1 cup french fried onions
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
How To Make alfredo green bean cassorole

Step 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Step 2In a small pan, combine butter, alfredo mix, milk, and 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese. Bring to simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Remove from heat and set aside.

Step 3Saute pancetta over medium heat until almost brown, drain off excess fat. Add onions, garlic and mushrooms. Saute 3 minutes or until softened.

Step 4In large mixing bowl combine green beans, alfredo sauce, ingredients in saute pan and 1/2 cup of french fried onions. Mix well.

Step 5Place mixture in casserole dish and bake for 20 minutes.

Step 6Remove dish from oven. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of french fried onions and 1/4 cup parmesan cheese on top of casserole. Bake for an additional 10 minutes. Eat and enjoy!
