I call this my corn bar.
This is a great idea for a cookout. All the prep done night before. Have your corn serve with a few flavored butters grill some meats, how easy is that?? Im serving with steaks the butters go well on top of steaks.
I also find its great for conversation between quests, they can share there opinions, even come up with there own flavors.

How to Make 3 Butter Corn on the Cob

Step-by-Step

  1. For each flavored butter I use one stick of room temp butter.
    Either boil or grill corn.
  2. BACON BLUE CHEESE BUTTER
    2-3 cooked crumbled bacon,2tbls blue cheese crumbles. Mix in softened butter and serve in dish for corn.
  3. SERRANO BUTTER
    !/2 serrano pepper seeded and finely chopped, 1/2tsp chili powder, 2tbls parmasen cheese added to stick of butter served with corn
  4. CILANTRO LIME BUTTER
    1tbls lime juice, 1tbls lime zest & 2tbls fresh chopped cilantro mixed with 1 stick soften butter served for corn.

    Set table up with cooked corn, bowls of flavord butters, knives, or tiny spoons work well, and salt and pepper.
