Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 large onion, diced or slivered
- 4 slices bacon cut into small pieces
- 2 cans pork and beans
- 1 tablespoon dark molasses or brer rabbit syrup
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon morton's nature's seasonings
- 1 pound link german sausage (optional)
- 2 dashes tobasco sauce (if you are feeling frisky)
How To Make spank yo' momma pork and beans

Step 1saute onion and bacon pieces in olive oil until tender Add both cans of pork and beans

Step 2bring to a simmer and then add molasses/syrup, mustard, ketchup, chili powder, nature's seasonings

Step 3simmer for 5 minutes to let all the flavors mingle and mix

Step 4If you want a little more substantial dish, add the german sausage cut into 1/2 inch links and the optional tobasco sauce
