southwestern green bean bundles
My friend mentioned he makes green bean bundles every Thanksgiving. So I investedgated on the intranet how to make them and this is what I came up with. This recipe was adapted from several recipes I found on the intranet

Ingredients
- 1 pound freash green beans
- 1 pound bacon
- MARINADE
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon dried tarragon leaves
- 1 tablespoon emeril's southwest seasoning
- - salt and pepper
- SAUCE
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon emerils southwest seasoning mix
- 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
How To Make southwestern green bean bundles

Step 1Cut the ends off green beans and put in a pot of boiling water and some salt. Blanch beans for 5-10 minutes. Drain and imediatley put them into a ice bath.

Step 2Meanwhile in a large bowl, whisk together the marinade ingrediants. Mix with green beans and marinade for 1 hour.

Step 3Preheat oven 350 F In a skillet cook bacon to render some of the fat. But do not cook til crisp. Cool.

Step 4Wrap bacon around 6 green beans tightly taking care not to tear bacon. Place bundles onto a cookie sheet, lined with foil and sprayed with cooking spray.

Step 5Bake until bacon is crisp. Turning once. Mean while in a medium sauce pan melt butter, brown sugar, seasoning, garlic powder and worchestershire sauce over medium heat cook until sugar is disolved. Spoon over bundles.
