Ingredients
- 6 slices bacon
- 1 small cabbage head, sliced
- 1 medium onion,chopped
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper
How To Make southern fried cabbage

Step 1In large skillet fry the bacon until crispy, remove to a paper towel to drain.

Step 2Place chopped cabbage and onion in the skillet with the bacon fat over medium heat and cook until it begins to wilt.

Step 3Crumble the bacon and add to the pan. Add in the chicken stock, vinegar, salt and pepper, cover and allow it to simmer for 10 minutes.
