  • 8 ounces cream cheese, cubed
  • 2/3 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese
  • 3 tablespoons butter, sliced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream or half and half
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • dash cayenne pepper, optional

    Spray the inside and sides of a slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.

    Add the ingredients in order listed and stir.
