I got this off Pinterest, but could not save it to Just a pinch. My husband loved it! We will be making it often. I will post a picture next time I make it!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds 1 small head of cabbage
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 to 3 cloves garlic, smashed
  • - kosher salt
  • - ground black pepper

How To Make roasted cabage steaks

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven t 400 and spray a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray (I put foil on sheet to make clean up easy)
  • Step 2
    Pull outer leaf off cabbage and cut cabbage from top to bottom(the root) into 1"thick slices
  • Step 3
    Mix garlic with olive oil in small bowl and spread over both sides of garlic slices with a pastry brush and sprinkle with salt and pepper
  • Step 4
    Roast on middle rack for 30 minutes then flip cabbage over and roast additional 30 minutes - edges will be brown and crispy.
  • Step 5
    Serve hot!
