Ingredients
- 2 cups dry pinto beans
- 2 slices bacon, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
How To Make pinto beans

Step 1Look through he bean to be sure there are no rocks. Also remove broken pieces.

Step 2Place all ingredients in a large pot. Cover with water.

Step 3Bring to a boil. Lower the heat slightly and simmer the beans until done, about an hour. Stir occasionally.

Step 4Add water during cooking if needed.
