Now You Like Spinach
3 bunchfresh spinach, cooked
1/4 tsptabasco pepper sauce ( or hot sauce of your choice)
4 Tbspbutter or margarine
1 pkg(3 oz) cream cheese
2/3 cbread crumbs (or 2 hard boiled eggs, sliced)
How to Make Now You Like Spinach
- Wash spinach and remove any woody stems. Steam in pan in 6 tablespoons of water until limp and bright green. Drain off water very well.
- To hot, drained spinach, add hot sauce, salt, butter, and cream cheese that has been softened with milk. Stir until butter has melted and ingredients are blended. Place in a casserole and bake for 20 minutes at375. Garnish with bread crumbs or egg slices.
