Since I was a little girl I loved my pickles! Always have extra pickles on my burgers. My kids the same, now my granddaughters! If we go to a fast food my Oldest granddaughter always says make sure they give me lotsa pickles Nana!!!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup white wine vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons mustard seed
  • 1 teaspoon peppercorns
  • 2 tablespoons coarse salt
  • - large handful fresh dill
  • 2 - english cucumber or 6 small kirby cucumbers
  • 1 teaspoon table salt (to salt cucumbers while in strainer)

How To Make my hamburger pickle chips

  • Step 1
    In a saucepan boil water and vinegar. Add remaining ingredients in vinegar base. Slice cucumbers salt and let sit in strainer for 15min. Layer cukes in jar with dill in between. Pour warm liquid in jars over cucumbers and dill. Cover with lid.
  • Step 2
    Refrigerate overnight, up to 2 weeks.
