How to Make Mom's Peas with Onions and Bacon
- In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, brown diced bacon, about 3 to 6 minutes. Add onion to the pan, and sauté another 3 minutes or so, until onions are just tender.
- Add peas and reduce heat to medium. Season with salt and pepper and cook peas, 5 minutes or until heated through.
- Transfer to a shallow bowl and serve. You can also use steamed fresh or frozen snap peas. Makes 4 servings.
