Ingredients
- 8 ounces potatoes peeled cut thin
- 1 pound carrots cut in slices
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons marsala wine or orange liquor
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 2 tablespoons softened butter
- - s&p to taste
How To Make marsala carrot mash

Step 1Add potatoes to saucepan, add water to cover, bring to boil and cook for 5min. Then add carrot slices. Continue cooking until both vegetables are completely tender (about 20-25min) Drain and return vegetables to the pan. Working over a low heat dry vegetables off for about 5min, mixing as needed. Transfer dried vegetables to a food processor and add butter, cream, s&p, marsala wine & orange zest. Adjust flavor with seasonings to Your taste. This can be added to a piping bag to decorate plate.
