Saw this on TV, it sounded so good for a quick summer veggie salad. Tried it and loved it!

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 16oz bags frozen green beans, thawed
- 16oz bags frozen peas, thawed
- 2 - sweet onions, sliced thin
- 1 - red pepper, sliced
- pinch - salt
- 2oz jars red pimento (optional)
How To Make marinated vegetable salad

Step 1Cook together the sugar and red wine until sugar is dissolved. Cool.

Step 2add olive oil and mix well.

Step 3Mix vegetables in a large bowl, pour cooled marinade over the vegetables. Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours.
