juicy brussels sprouts

It is harvest season and we received carrots, apples and Brussels sprouts in our CSA. I put them together and voila, a new recipe! This is an enjoyable way to eat your sprouts!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh brussels sprouts, halved
  • 1 or 2 large fresh carrots
  • 3 large tart apples, peeled and cut,
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

How To Make juicy brussels sprouts

  • Step 1
    Cut carrots into bite sizes and add to Brussels Sprouts and bite sized apples.
  • Step 2
    Saute in large skillet with olive oil for 2-3 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Add 1/4 cup of lemon juice, 1/4 cup of lime juice and brown sugar. Cook until veggies are tender and juicy.
