Juicy Brussels Sprouts

It is harvest season and we received carrots, apples and Brussels sprouts in our CSA. I put them together and voila, a new recipe! This is an enjoyable way to eat your sprouts!

  • 2 c
    fresh brussels sprouts, halved
  • 1 or 2 large
    fresh carrots
  • 3 large
    tart apples, peeled and cut,
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1/4 c
    lemon juice
  • 1/4 c
    lime juice
  • 1 Tbsp
    brown sugar

How to Make Juicy Brussels Sprouts


  1. Cut carrots into bite sizes and add to Brussels Sprouts and bite sized apples.
  2. Saute in large skillet with olive oil for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add 1/4 cup of lemon juice, 1/4 cup of lime juice and brown sugar. Cook until veggies are tender and juicy.
