We both like broccoli but we get tired of fixing it the same way so Friday I decided to experiment a little. We really liked it this way.

  • 1 1/2 c
    broccoli florets, washed and steamed
  • 1 Tbsp
    dried cranberries
  • 1 Tbsp
    chopped walnuts (what ever nut you like)
  • 1 oz
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    grey poupon mustard
  • 1 Tbsp
    pure maple syrup

How to Make Holiday Broccoli for two


  1. Clean broccoli florets and put in a small bowl. Cover with another small bowl and steam in the microwave until Al-dente. Usually one to two minutes.
  2. In a small bowl using a whisk mix all the wet ingredients together. Add the cranberries and nuts;
  3. Remove the broccoli from the microwave. Pour dressing over the top and serve.
    This dish is a colorful as it is tasty.
