    green beans
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1/2 c
    shallots, minced
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp

How to Make Green Beans With Shallots


  1. Trim ends from beans, and remove strings.
  2. Drop beans into a large stockpot of boiling water; cook 10 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain.
  3. Heat oil in stockpot over medium heat.
  4. Add shallots; sauteā€š 3 minutes or until tender.
  5. Add green beans and water; cook 3 minutes or until beans are tender, stirring occasionally.
  6. Remove from heat, and stir in salt and pepper.
