Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 medium garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup canned tomatoes, chopped
- 1 pound green beans, trimmed
- - salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons parsely, chopped
How To Make green beans braised in tomatoes

Step 1Heat oil in large saute pan over medium heat.

Step 2Add onion; cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Step 3Add garlic and continue cooking another minute.

Step 4Add tomatoes; simmer until juices thicken slightly, about 5 minutes.

Step 5Add green beans, 1/4 teaspoon salt and a few grindings of pepper to pan.

Step 6Stir well, cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until beans are tender but still offer some resistance to the bite, about 20 minutes.

Step 7Stir in parsley and adjust seasonings.

Step 8Serve immediately.
