I love the little crunch you get from the waterchesnuts, they really set this dish apart! And of course who doesn't love a bit of bacon with their beans!

Ingredients
- 3-4 cans french style green beans
- 1 can whole waterchesnuts, drained and diced into small cubes
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can french fried onions
How To Make green bean casserole

Step 1Drain green beans and waterchesnuts in colander until all of the liquid has drained off.

Step 2Dice up water chesnuts into small cubes

Step 3Mix soup, green beans and water chesnuts together in a bowl.

Step 4Transfer green bean mixture into a 2 quart casserole.

Step 5Crumble crisply cooked bacon and french fried onions and sprinkle over the top! It's delicious!

Step 6Bake uncovered in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
