  • 3-4 can(s)
    french style green beans
  • 1 can(s)
    sliced water chesnuts, drained or whole waterchesnuts diced into small cubes
  • 6+ slice
    bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 can(s)
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can(s)
    french fried onions

How to Make Green Bean Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. Drain green beans and waterchesnuts in colander until all of the liquid has drained off.
  2. Mix all ingredients together in a large mixing bowl except French fried onions.
  3. Transfer green bean mixture into a 2 quart casserole and cover with French fried onions.
  4. Bake uncovered in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
