How to Make Glazed Carrots
- About 25 minutes before serving:
In medium saucepan over medium heat, in 1 inch boiling water, heat carrots and 1/4 teaspoon salt to boiling; cover and cook 15 minutes or until tender-crisp; drain. Add butter or margarine, sugar 3/4 teaspoon salt and nutmeg. Return mixture to heat and cook, stirring constantly, until carrots are glazed.
