These are very good and go well with my Glazed Corned Beef.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound carrots, cut in large chuncks
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

How To Make glazed carrots

  • Step 1
    About 25 minutes before serving: In medium saucepan over medium heat, in 1 inch boiling water, heat carrots and 1/4 teaspoon salt to boiling; cover and cook 15 minutes or until tender-crisp; drain. Add butter or margarine, sugar 3/4 teaspoon salt and nutmeg. Return mixture to heat and cook, stirring constantly, until carrots are glazed.
