Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup self rising flour
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 3 large onions
- 1 1/2 cups oil for frying
- 1 tablespoon sugar
How To Make garlicy, buttery, cornbread onion rings

Step 1Mix your cornmeal, egg, flour, butter, garlic,and sugar in a medium bowl mix well.

Step 2cut your onion in half inch slices. place onion s in bowl with the mix. mix well till onions are coated.

Step 3place 1 cup oil in a medium skillet.preheat oil in skillet till hot. place two handfuls coated onion rings in skillet and fry till onion ring are a golden brown repeat in batches till all onion rings are cooked. cool slightly serve.
