1 bag(s)(12 oz.) frozen okra, thawed
1 cyellow corn meal
3/4 call purpose flour
1/4 tspground pepper
2 largeeggs, thoroughly beaten
·oil for deep frying
How to Make Fried Okra
- Mix together flour and cornmeal. Season with salt and pepper to taste
- dredge okra in beaten eggs and milk, then dredge in flour-cornmeal mixture.
- Place okra in deep hot oil and fry on medium-high heat until golden brown. Stir occasionally so all sides get browned.
- Drain on a wire rack or paper towel. Sprinkle with just a small pinch more of salt.
