How to Make Fried Okra
- 1Mix together flour and cornmeal. Season with salt and pepper to taste
- 2dredge okra in beaten eggs, then dredge in flour-cornmeal mixture.
- 3Place okra in deep hot oil and fry on medium-high heat until golden brown. Stir occasionally so all sides get browned.
- 4Drain on a paper towel. Sprinkle with just a small pinch more of salt.
