While dreaming of fried green tomatoes yesterday and knowing I couldn't have them I started thinking,and heres what I come up with.

Ingredients

  • 2 large
    green tomatoes
  • 1
    sleeve saltines (crushed fine)
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh bazil
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh roesmary
  • 1 clove
    fresh garlic (made into paste)
  • 2/3 c
    egg beaters
  • 1 dash(es)
    salt
  • 1 dash(es)
    pepper

How to Make Fried Green Tomatoes My Way

Step-by-Step

  1. Wash and slice tomatoes.
  2. Mix together saltines,bazil,rosemary,garlic,salt, and pepper.
  3. Set up dredging station, put tomatoes in egg and then in seasoned cracker crumbs.
  4. Arrange on greased baking pan,
  5. Spray tops with butter cooking spray befor putting in oven.
  6. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Enjoy!
